A.B.S Group was established in April 1990 offering quality customer specification conversions to the Mini.

In 1992 due to poor quality and fit of products bought in from other manufactures, A.B.S Mini's produced there own body kit.

The range of quality fibre products for the Mini soon grew to include wheel arches, other body kits, bonnets, boots, spoilers and even a front end conversion to allow the fitment of Vauxhall 2000 cc. Twin cams and Honda V-Tec engine units now totaling over 100 items.

In 1997 A.B.S. Motorsport developments opened offering design and manufacturing of lightweight grp products for the circuits and rally teams across the UK.

In May 1998 A.B.S Mini's launched the "Freestyle" kit car, an inexpensive Mini based kit car with 3 starter option kits with many accessories now available and more under development.

In 2001 ABS Group expanded their export market and now offer worldwide trade and retail supplies of Motorsport and styling products including body kits, bonnet vents, quad lights, mirrors and over 450 boot spoilers.
